More rain today - and we need all we can get. A bit inconvenient because I really needed to cut grass before Charlie and I travel to Orange Beach tomorrow. I guess we'll see the oil. We actually moved our reservations from Gulf Side to Bayside and are counting on the pool for our enjoyment of sun and water.
When we return my grass will definitely need cutting and Charlie will need to do the trim work.
But - about contrasts. In the winter when we thought spring would never arrive, on a very rainy day I went out to take pictures just to defy the monotony of so much wet and cold and gray.
Now we can compare those to my summer pictures from yesterday's rain and just appreciate both seasons for what they are.

Winter has its own comfort - and safety - and warmth.
I love summer. Summer needs winter, but summer, I love it.

we always want to go from one season to another esp. if that season gives us problems. rain is good we need t great photos enjoy yourselves on your trip.
